20th Australian Marist Basketball Carnival

Trinity Catholic College Lismore and St John's College Woodlawn co-hosted one of the most thrilling and exciting Marist Basketball Carnivals. The Trinity boys' team finished a resounding 4th and the girls' team finished 6th in a very high standard competition.

A highlight of the Carnival was the selection of James Whitby (Year 12) into the prestigious Marist Five Team. James was also the second highest point scorer for the carnival. He made the State Catholic Schoolboys side last year in Year 11 and from then, made it his goal to make the Marist Five Team.

The Basketball Carnival for 2009 will be hosted at Trinity Catholic College, Lismore and St John's College, Woodlawn on 24 - 28 April 2009
